7-days challenge #3: BIORE UV Aqua Rich Whitening SPF 50 PA+++

It's been awhile since I did a 7 days challenge. Now, here's an exciting product to try. It's the No.1 sunblock brand in Japan. Previously, Jeannie did a full review on their UV Perfect Milk SPF 50 PA+++. Their sunblock comes in different consistency: water-based, gel-based and even face milk and mousse. They also have a wide range of formulation targeting any problem or needs of every Asian girl. There's whitening, brightening, water and sweat resistance, tinted sunblock etc. It all depends on your lifestyle and preference.

好久没玩七天大挑战了。今天带来了一个很棒的产品。它可是日本防晒排行第一的品牌哦！之前，Jeannie 也写了一篇关于他们家的UV Perfect Milk SPF 50 PA+++的点评。他们家推出的防晒有不同的质感，有水状的，胶装的，还有牛奶和摩丝装的。他们也有许多不同的配方来针对每个亚洲女生的各种问题和需求。有美白、提亮、防水、防汗和有色等等。大家应该依自己的生活方式和偏好来选择。

Here's what it looks like 

Day 1 - First application was pretty smooth. The white cream turns into a colorless watery cream. It also sinks in very fast. It's not greasy or sticky on the face, even after a few hours. 

Day 2 - I was in Sungai Lembing with my friends and we went hiking to the famous rainbow waterfall. So, it was the golden opportunity to test out this product. Even with all the sweating throughout the 1 hour hike, my face was not sticky or greasy. I almost forgot that I applied sunblock on my face. 

Day 3 - No breakout so far. No clogged pores too. No shiny disco face. 

Day 4 - I applied Holika Holika Face 2 Change CC Cream on top of the sunblock and stays really well. It wasn't super oily and slippery. 

Day 5 - No major whitening of skin tone but it also didn't darken. So, it's a good news. 

第一天－第一次用后感觉很滑。白白的乳液推开后会变无色。它也很快就被皮肤吸收。即使过了几个小时后，脸也不会觉得油腻。

第二天－刚好今天我和一班朋友到林明山去游玩。一大清早就爬上山看著名的彩虹瀑布， 爬了一个小时流了很多汗，可是也没觉得很粘或不舒服，几乎忘了自己有擦防晒。 

第三天－没长痘，毛孔也没阻塞，也没油光。

第四天－我擦了防晒后，擦了Holika Holika Face 2 Change CC Cream。感觉不错，妆还瞒耐的，脸也不觉得特别油。

第五天－皮肤没有明显的变白，也没变黑，所以是件好事。

This is a chemical sunblock which absorbs sun rays to protect the skin. Unlike mineral sunblock which contains titanium oxide and zinc oxide, they deflect or block sun rays from damaging the skin. Chemical sunblock gives more coverage. Another thing that makes this sunblock so good is that Biore also added some skincare elements into the sunblock. It is said to contain natural Chamomile extract which helps to reduce the production of melanin and prevent age spots caused by sun damage. There's also some moisturizing agents in the product including Hyaluronic Acid and mix citrus essence. 

这款是化学防晒乳，它是将紫外线吸收然后以一种较低的能量形态释放出来，物理防晒是以氧化钛和氧化锌来将紫外线反射掉。化学防晒给于的保护制度较高。 这防晒还有的好处就是Biore在产品里也添加了一些保养元素。它含有有机菊花精华，有效帮助减少黑色素的产生，也可以预防黑斑。产品里也有玻尿酸和柑橘精华等保湿剂。 

The pointy head does keep things clean and easy

The sunblock has very light frangrance but it's not noticeable. I also like it because it does not have the yucky chemical sunblock smell that others have. The packaging is simple but thoughtful because the light plastic tube is convenient for travelling. The pointy head also keeps thing clean. The price to pay is RM32.90/33g. 

这防晒乳含有淡淡的香精，而且它没有那种防晒有的化学物味，单单这点就另我爱死它了。包装很简单，不过很周到，因为树胶管轻便，容易携带。附来的小尖头确保产品不会弄到到处都是。需付的代价是RM32.90/33g。

This, indeed, is one of the best sunblock in the market. 

这的确是市场上最好用的防晒乳之一。

DHC for men Medicated Acne Gel 

Here's one of the acne treatment products that I tried. You might ask why did I buy a men's product...Well, I don't know. This is the only acne treatment product that DHC brought into Malaysia. And I have been battling acne for years. Don't get me wrong here...I don't have acne on my face 365 days but I do have 2-3 pimple or acne from time to time, especially when I'm stressed. 

So, why not try a new product! Anyway, I think it's fine to share this product because acne are still acne. The cause of acne is the same for men and women except for hormonal acne, of course. And the common ingredient used in acne treatment products are salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide and sulfur. These are the ingredients found in over-the-counter products which are usually more mild to the skin.  

今天要给大家点评的是我之前试过的一个治痘产品。大家应该很好奇为什么我会买男生专用的产品吧。。其实，也没有特别理由。只是这里的DHC只有这个治痘的。我一直都在和痘痘作战。可是大家可别误会，我不是365天都有痘痘，只不过偶尔会有两、三科，尤其是我恨压力的时候。

偶尔试试新产品也无害嘛！无论如何，这产品虽然是给男生的，可是痘痘无论长在男生或女生的脸上，还是痘痘，没有分别的。除非是荷尔蒙导致的。市场上常见的治痘产品里说含有的主要成分包括水杨酸，苯甲酰，和硫，都是比较温和的。

I have no idea what's the active ingredient in this product because it's all in Japanese and there's nothing much about this product on line. I also realized that it's not available in many countries. So, I can't really explain much about this product. The product has a watery gel like consistency and it's colorless. I'm sharing this with my brother. Both of us agree that this product does not do much. There's no major effect on the acne after several days of application, even though it says medicated.  

其实我不知道产品里的成分是什么，因为都是日文，而且网上完全找不到任何资料。我也发觉这产品不是很多国家有。很抱歉不能仔细地分解给大家听。产品是水水的凝胶状，无色。我和弟弟公用这产品后，都一致认为它没有效用。涂在痘痘上几天后，也没变化。

Clear, colorless gel 

Worst of all, this useless thing is priced at RM 43.90/20g. It's really expensive! Must be the import tax and duties. Hmph! If you are looking for something to treat your acne, please consider other (better) options! 

最心痛的是这没用的东西要RM 43.90/20g。超贵的！应该是进口税的关系。如果你们也在找着治痘的产品，请考虑别的（更好的）选择！

Nature & Co. Mint & Tea Sun Protector

Until I find this awesome product! haha....Nature & Co. is new to us, Malaysians. It's actually one of the subsidiaries of Kose. The skincare line emphasize on natural ingredients, hence the name. The thing that I like about this product is that it's not greasy; it leaves a smooth feeling on the skin after application. As you all know, I have combination skin. So, I have to be extra careful when choosing sunscreen because some can be too rich and oily for my skin which will break me out. And Nature & Co.'s Mint & Tea Protector contains two key ingredient which makes it suitable for oily/combination skin. These two ingredients are none other than.....MINT and TEA! The product contains peppermint extract and 3 types of tea extract (green tea, white tea & oolong) which helps to control oil. Peppermint also contains anti-pruritic agents that calm skin and salicylic acid that contributes to pimple-free skin. As for the tea, they help to prevent damage of collagen (anti-aging + anti-inflammatory). Many research has proven that peppermint & tea extract are effective in skin cancer prevention. Apart from that, the product also consist of organic lavender and chamonilla extract which have relaxing and revitalizing effect on skin.

我知道很多人讨厌擦防晒品是因为它有一股化学物质的味道和那粘粘的感觉。 

其实我也是!

。。。直到我找到了它。Nature & Co.  对我们马来西亚人来说是蛮新的一个品牌。 他其实是日本著名专柜品牌Kose旗下的廉价品牌。 他们家的产品注重天然材料, 所以改了这个名字。 我很喜欢这产品是因为它不会油油的, 而且擦了皮肤是滑滑的。 我的皮肤是混合性的, 所以在选择防晒品的时候要特别注意。太油的产品会导致痘痘爆发。 可是大家可不用担心这产品会有这个副作用, 因为它含有两样很历害的成分: 薄荷及茶。而且不只是一种茶, 它含有绿茶、白茶和乌龙茶。 薄荷和茶都可帮助控油, 所以不会生痘痘。 再加上薄荷有止痒功效, 又含有水杨酸可防止痘痘丛生。 而茶也可保护胶原蛋白不受破坏 (抗老+抗炎)。许多数据显示薄荷和茶具有抵抗皮肤癌的功能。此外，产品里也含有薰衣草及菊花精华，可放松皮肤。

Watery texture

No coloring added

As you can see from the picture, the product is white in color and it's very watery. This makes it easy to apply and the smooth feeling of my skin makes it a good make up base to work on. It has light herbal scent so I believe it's acceptable to everyone.The watery consistency also means a little goes a long way.

Each bottle cost RM 55.90/45ml. It can be found in Watsons & Sasa but I realised that not all outlet have them. Besides that, I think each bottle can last up to 9 months judging from my experience (with daily use).  

从图上大家可看到产品是白色的， 而且质感水水的，所以很容易使用。它也适合当低妆。产品带着淡淡的草药味，应该大家都可接受。

每瓶售价是 RM 55.90/45 ml， 可在 Watsons 和 Sasa 买到。不过，我发觉只有某些分行有代售。其实，以我的经验来看一瓶大概可以用上9个月， 每次只须用一点就可以涂完整张臉。是给小资女们的好介绍哦！
