GARNIER Pure Active Fruit Energy Energizing Facial Foam

Hi everyone! How was your long Raya weekend? Hope you wasn't too busy having fun and didn't get enough rest. Otherwise, your body and skin are gonna be mad at you! Pimples will be poppin' out soon. Well, my skin has always been a drama queen and pimple is a regular visitor. But I did managed to keep my skin clear for the past 1 month with the help of some salicylic acid. I've been using the new Garnier Pure Active Fruit Energy Energizing Facial Foam which is full of Vitamin C from Grapefruit and Pomegranate. This cleanser is formulated for acne prone skin. It helps to prevent acne and brightens skin. Acne and brightening has to come together in my opinion because acne problem comes with acne scars that is very unpleasant to the eyes. Getting rid of the acne only takes about a week or two but the acne scar, it takes months!! 

嗨，大家的开斋节假期过得如何啊？应该都不会忙着玩而忽略了休息吧。是的话，身体和皮肤都应该会很不爽了，痘痘也就快长出来了。我的皮肤一直都有痘痘的困扰，可是自从我用了这支洗脸霜以后，已经一个多月没长痘痘了。这是因为洗脸霜里添加了水杨酸和柚子及红石榴提炼出来的维他命C。这款洗脸霜是专为痘痘肌所打造的，它可帮助抗痘和美白。一直以来我都觉得痘痘和美白是息息相关的，去除痘痘一两个星期就搞定，可是痘疤就要几个月以上。

So, the ideal thing to do is to prevent acne. Salicylic acid helps to exfoliate the skin which unclog pores and prevent lesions. A clogged pore is where bacteria builds up easily and develop into an acne. But salicylic acid can be a bit drying to the skin and furthermore, this is a foam cleaner. After using it for a month, my skin is perfectly fine and there is not drying issue. This is because the concentration of salicylic acid in this facial foam is pretty mild so we don't have to worry about the side effects.

所以说最好的还是抗痘。水杨酸可帮助去角质，避免毛孔阻塞，也防止它变逗。阻塞的毛孔容易有细菌生长，然后发炎变痘痘。虽然水杨酸可以防止痘痘，可是它对皮肤干燥，这洗脸霜还要是泡沫型的。还好我用了一个多月都没什么问题，因为产品里的水杨酸成分并不高。

On its cleansing action, it is very effective in removing dirt and oil off the face. As for its brightening effect, I did not notice any drastic change in my skin tone. On the contrary, I did not notice any darkening on my skin either. So, I can't be sure about the brightening effect because my sunblock has whitening effect too.

在洗脸方面， 它的确可以很有效地把灰尘和油脂洗掉。至于它的美白功效呢， 我不觉得我的肤色有明显地改善；相反的，我也没有发现肤色有变黑， 所以我不敢肯定，而且我用的防晒膏也有美白功效。

Anyway, I'm very happy with this cleanser because I have been pimple-free for a month. In my context of life, that is some major accomplishment. By the way, this cleanser is only RM6.50 for 50ml and RM11.90 for 100ml. It's available at all Guardian, Watsons, pharmacies and departmental stores.

无论如何，可以一个月都不长痘痘我已经很高兴了。在我的生活字典里， 那时很大不了了。还有，这洗脸霜只售RM6.50/50ml， 大的100ml是RM11.90。在Guardian, Watsons，各大药行和商场都有销售。

DHC for men Medicated Acne Gel 

Here's one of the acne treatment products that I tried. You might ask why did I buy a men's product...Well, I don't know. This is the only acne treatment product that DHC brought into Malaysia. And I have been battling acne for years. Don't get me wrong here...I don't have acne on my face 365 days but I do have 2-3 pimple or acne from time to time, especially when I'm stressed. 

So, why not try a new product! Anyway, I think it's fine to share this product because acne are still acne. The cause of acne is the same for men and women except for hormonal acne, of course. And the common ingredient used in acne treatment products are salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide and sulfur. These are the ingredients found in over-the-counter products which are usually more mild to the skin.  

今天要给大家点评的是我之前试过的一个治痘产品。大家应该很好奇为什么我会买男生专用的产品吧。。其实，也没有特别理由。只是这里的DHC只有这个治痘的。我一直都在和痘痘作战。可是大家可别误会，我不是365天都有痘痘，只不过偶尔会有两、三科，尤其是我恨压力的时候。

偶尔试试新产品也无害嘛！无论如何，这产品虽然是给男生的，可是痘痘无论长在男生或女生的脸上，还是痘痘，没有分别的。除非是荷尔蒙导致的。市场上常见的治痘产品里说含有的主要成分包括水杨酸，苯甲酰，和硫，都是比较温和的。

I have no idea what's the active ingredient in this product because it's all in Japanese and there's nothing much about this product on line. I also realized that it's not available in many countries. So, I can't really explain much about this product. The product has a watery gel like consistency and it's colorless. I'm sharing this with my brother. Both of us agree that this product does not do much. There's no major effect on the acne after several days of application, even though it says medicated.  

其实我不知道产品里的成分是什么，因为都是日文，而且网上完全找不到任何资料。我也发觉这产品不是很多国家有。很抱歉不能仔细地分解给大家听。产品是水水的凝胶状，无色。我和弟弟公用这产品后，都一致认为它没有效用。涂在痘痘上几天后，也没变化。

Worst of all, this useless thing is priced at RM 43.90/20g. It's really expensive! Must be the import tax and duties. Hmph! If you are looking for something to treat your acne, please consider other (better) options! 

最心痛的是这没用的东西要RM 43.90/20g。超贵的！应该是进口税的关系。如果你们也在找着治痘的产品，请考虑别的（更好的）选择！

This is my current night cream. I've been using it for months now. The reason I bought this is because I have a lot of pimple scars, which takes forever to disappear! And I'm getting old, my skin renewal is getting slow. So, extra assistance is necessary.

Recently, the snail slime trend has been one of the big hits in the beauty industry. I'm sure all you realized that. The cream is infused with snail slime. Some people get disgusted by the thought of it but I'm pretty sure that the slime are filtered and processed before it's put into the tub.

蜗牛霜是近年来美容市场上的大热门之一，相信大家也有留意到。他们是在产品里加入了蜗牛分泌出来的粘液。很多人听了都觉得很恶心，可是我很肯定那些粘液是有被过滤和处理过才送入包装的。

And don't worry, no snail is killed or harmed in the process of extracting the slime. Naturally, snail slime is produced to protect itself from rough surfaces and it also heal their wounds and cracks on their shells. Snail slim is a mixture of protein (collagen), glycolic acid (eliminates dead cells) and elastin (for elasticity). It is rich in regenerative properties and it also contains super moisturizing components like hyaluronic acids. Hence, products like the Bio-essence Snail Repair & Smooth Cream is specially formulated to treat acne and scarring. Now, probably you are wondering how they extract the slime like me. I google-d it up and found that they are first placed under "safe mechanical stress" condition to stimulate secretion then they are cleansed and return to their breeding place. Specific species, size and weight of snail is picked to ensure quality of product. Some Korean brands like Missha even fed their snails with red ginseng to enhance the benefit of the slime.　

大家应该都都很好奇他们是怎样提炼出那些粘液的吧？我也是。在网上查询了之后才发觉他们是利用人造应力刺激蜗牛的分泌。然后将他们清洗干净，再放回他们的繁殖地。为了确保素质，他们都会挑选制定的品种、大小和重量。来自韩国的Missha更为了提高粘液的益处，而喂蜗牛们吃红参，厉害吧？！　

Now back to the product, the cream don't really have a thick, creamy consistency. It's more like a gel type and it's quite watery. It should not be called as a cream. It glides smoothly onto my skin and my skin absorbs it like a sponge. The watery consistency definitely help with the absorption. On the skin, it transforms into a smooth-gelatin like layer and it's not sticky. I like to use it at night because I feel that the effect is better.

说回我们今天的主角，这护肤膏不会很厚重，也不像普通膏状物。它的质感偏向凝胶，水水的。　其实也不应该称为护肤膏。　这产品涂在皮肤上滑滑的，而且因为它是水质的，皮肤也吸收得很快。在皮肤上，它好像形成了一层滑滑的凝胶，一点也不粘。我喜欢当晚霜用，因为觉得效果比较好。

The packaging looks very elegant with the pale gold color and the glass gives it a very classy feeling. It comes with a tin foil seal to prevent the product from spilling off. I just peel it all off. The tub is very heavy so it's not good for travelling. Then again this is not the kind of product that you bring it along with you everywhere u go. 

The product is priced at RM 99.90/50ml. I got mine at Watsons. Besides this cream, they also have a serum which gives the same benefit. Serum are more intense so I believe it will give a stronger result. I think I should get that next and I can incorporate it into my day time routine as well. You should give it a try too! 

他们在包装上也花了不少心思。整个包装以浅金色为主，看起来很高雅。他们也选用了玻璃罐，而不是塑料罐，更使包装增添了不少贵气。罐口上还加了一层锡纸，以防产品漏出。可是，玻璃罐有一个坏处，就是它很重，很不方便携带。不过，其实这种护肤品也不须随身带着。

此产品售价是 RM 99.90/50ml。　我是从Watsons买的。除了这款护肤膏以外，他们也推出了同系列的精华液。精华液的成分比较浓缩，我相信效果会比较明显。我的下一个目标应该是它了。　你也因该试一试！

Hi everyone,

On my recent visit to the health care stores, my mission is to purchase a purifying mask. Then I found NARUKO Tea Tree Purifying Clay Mask & Cleanser in 1 which gives me 3 in 1 benefits; 1) facial cleanser, 2) gentle exfoliant, 3) deep cleansing mask. Tea tree oil is extracted from the leaves of the Melaleuca alternifolia (a native plant in Australia) and it is best used to clarify the skin, deep cleansing to wash away unnecessary oil to prevent clogged pores and acne. 

最近一次去逛保健商店的任务是买一支净肤面膜。最后让我找到了[牛尔亲研] 的茶树抗痘敷面净肤泥。 它有三大功能: 1) 洗颜乳 2) 去角质 3) 敷面泥。 产品里的茶树是从一种生长在澳大利亚的植物上提取的。那植物的名称是Melaleuca Alternifolia. 它有很大的洁净功効, 以助于深层净肤、去除油脂及舒畅阻塞的毛孔。

Though there's three ways of using this product, but I've only used it as a cleanser at first. Personally I am a big fan of tea tree oil products. I really love the smell of essential aroma and also the refreshed feeling and cooling effect leaving on my face. With Zinc PCA as an oil control agent, it works well on my oily & combination skin type to cleanse the oil and impurities on my face. Most importantly is paraben free! 

虽然有三种用法，我开始时只是把它当洗脸霜用。本人很喜欢茶树的产品，所以我也很喜欢它那清香的味道。而且用了之后，还有清凉和提神皮肤的功效。产品里面含有控油成分：锌。对混合性或油性皮肤的朋友们，这可是最佳用品！因为它可以去除脸上的油脂和杂质。最重要的是，它不含Paraben.  

[牛尔亲研]Naruko's Tea Tree Purifying Clay Mask & Cleanser in 1

The texture is slightly creamy and contain jojoba beads with mint (the blue thingy) which use to exfoliate the skin. It is not rough but gentle to the skin. Soon after using it, my skin looks cleaner and brighter. 

产品是膏状的。它含有荷荷巴和薄荷（蓝色的点点），擦在皮肤上有助于去角质，也不会太粗。用了之后，皮肤看起来洁净、亮丽。

If you were to use it as a mask, I would suggest these two ways. 1) After exfoliate, you can leave it for about 3 mins on your face then rinse off. 2) Or after cleansing, squeeze about 3cm and apply evenly on your T-zone/face for about 5 mins then rinse off. 

如果你是把它当面膜泥来用的话，我建议以下两种用法：1）去完角质后，让产品留在脸上大约3分钟，然后再洗掉。2）又或是在洗完脸后，挤出大约3公分的产品，平均擦在 “T” 字部位 / 整个脸上。分量清适量调整。五分钟后，用清水洗掉。

Some beauty tips to share with you. If you are oily skin type, you can apply all over the face otherwise just apply on the T-zone area. You can also follow the below massage technique. (extracted from Naruko's website).
